Thank you for visiting and shopping at Lakanto. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.​

Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email that includes your tracking number.
Tracking numbers typically become active within 24 hours. You can track your shipment using the link provided in the email or through the shipping carrier’s website.


Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight.

Estimated delivery times within Egypt are:

  • Cairo & Giza: 1–3 business days
    Other Governorates: 2–5 business days

Note: These are estimates. Public holidays and courier delays may impact delivery times.


Melted or Damaged Products

Lakanto Egypt takes great care in packaging, but we are not liable for damages or loss during shipping once your package leaves our facility.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. We recommend you:

  • Save all original packaging
  • Photograph the damaged product
  • Keep the damaged items until your claim is resolved

Chocolate Shipping Policy (Warm Weather Months)

During warmer months (May–September), we take extra precautions when shipping chocolate products:

  • Chocolate orders ship only on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays
  • We use cold packaging where necessary
  • A minimum of 3 chocolate items is required to qualify for cold shipping

Expect slight delays during summer to ensure product quality.


Holiday Shipping Policy

We encourage customers to place holiday orders early to avoid delays. Expected cut-off dates for delivery before major Egyptian holidays (e.g., Eid, Sham El-Nessim) will be communicated in advance on our website and social media.


International Shipping

Currently, Lakanto Egypt ships only within Egypt.


Returns & Refund Policy

Please refer to our Refund & Return Policy for full details on how to return or request a refund for an order. Returns are only accepted within 45 days of purchase for eligible products.
